International SIP Calls stopped by Free |

Free Telecom has suspended indefinitely their supplementary SIP service for International calls. Free's SIP service enabled an additional out going line for those with a Free box and an IP telephone. The second outgoing line with a suitable telephone provided a high quality audio call, benefiting from the Free 70 destination all inclusive tariff. This has now been trimmed back to destinations in France, for reasons that have not been made totally clear, although there are some interesting theories being supplied by the news groups.
